Fearsome Beastie

The Fearsome Beastie is the sort of book that doesn’t come along very often: an old-fashioned fairy story with horror, humour and an axe-wielding Granny – exactly the type of story that I loved as a kid.

It is written by Giles Paley-Phillips and illustrated by Gabriele Antonini, and we’re delighted to be able to announce that it will be made in to an animated adaptation by Slurpy Studios.

We are making it as a co-production with UCA Farnham, which is the alma-mata of several of the staff buy valium usa here at Slurpy, including Director Katie Steed and Producer Aaron Wood. The film will be co-directed with Jon Hunt, who heads up the CGI department at UCA Farnham.

This is a long project, with the deadline currently set at August 2014. It’s also our first foray in to the world of CG animation, so very exciting all around and we look forward to sharing our progress here on the Slurpy blog and on the brand new blog set up specifically for the project: www.fearsomebeastie.com
