Skwigly review – The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists

One of the most exciting animated releases this year will undoubtedly by The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists from everyone’s favourite Bristol based stop motion studio.

That’s Aardman by the way.

The lucky s*ds at Skwigly have been lucky enough to see the premiere, and their review is finally up. To say that it is positive diminishes the word.

Of course, this review is by Steve Henderson: Animation nerd extraordinary and ultimate Aardman devotee (just read his insane ramblings on our previous blog post trying to suggest that Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Wererabbit is a better film than Jungle Book! Clearly the deranged murmurs of an unstable mind.) Still, his knowledge of the animated world is second to… few, and if he says a film is non-stop laughter from beginning to end, then prepare for your sides to be split in two.
